Just a couple of hours away before I get older again. I don't know why we celebrate such things, when we know it's a sign that we're slowly inching our way to the end. On the other hand, we also think that it's a day that says - "Hey, I survived another year!", at the same time wishing to have many more years to come. I remember my past birthday celebrations before... it's true that parties can be very memorable. And the rest? Well, they're like just ordinary days, except that you get to eat cake and ice cream. Simple, but, I guess it's fun. I remember highschool - at 14, it lacked memories... 15, well, I'd rather not remember that because it was one of the two birthdays I hated.. had a petty quarrel with a close friend that time. 16 was great, my friends even gave me this large poster filled with signatures and Trowa pics o.o ^^. 17 was another year I hated, because a week before that my father announced that he wanted my mother to leave our house. 18 was, well, I know I had a party, but I didn't really ask for it and just wanted to celebrate it with a few close friends and that. 19 was just an ordinary day... so was 20. 20 was really ordinary though, I don't even remember eating cake or ice cream. @_@
Well anyways, enough blabbering. I'm just happy and thankful to God that I'll be reaching 21 soon. And though I am a pessimist, I'm looking forward to... yes, more years to come. And hoping they'd be better... ^_^
Hmm... must draw something for myself before I go to sleep. Which reminds me, I have to sleep early so I could go to my class without getting late @_@ Blargh! 7 am class @_@
